Jeannine Crofton is a Registered Psychologist and moved her private practice to Fong Ailon in 2013. Jeannine is registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists, a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and has been a member of Family Mediation Canada since 1996. Jeannine is also member of the College of Alberta Psychologists Oral Exam Committee and works with other committee members to assess the readiness for practice of provisional Psychologists.
Jeannine lectures regularly in the Psychology Department at Mount Royal University. She also instructs for the Continuing Education Department at MRU in their Conflict Resolution Certificate program. She specializes in Family Conflict, Workplace Conflict and Communication.
Jeannine has been working as a family mediator since 1996 and has settled hundreds of family and workplace disputes in both Alberta and British Columbia. Jeannine worked as a Caseflow- Coordinator in the Provincial Court of Alberta helping parents settle their custody decisions and avoid lengthy court involvement. Jeannine has a full practice at Fong Ailon. She mediates and is on the Brief Conflict Intervention (BCI) roster with Alberta Justice. You will see Jeannine presenting the Parenting after Seminar on a monthly basis.
Jeannine's therapy practice includes working with adults, adolescents and children. Her special interests include marital counselling, relationship concerns, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, life transitions, elder care issues and communication concerns.
Jeannine is married and has 3 school aged children.
